Perfectly lowkey

Last night, Megs and I had one of the most perfectly lowkey kinda nights.

Honestly, since about mid-November, Megs and I have had something almost EVERY weekend, most of which takes us up north.  We have enjoyed eventful weekends and seeing family/friends, but have craved a little quality, one-on-one time (Insert the obvious 'you'll never get another alone night again after this baby' comment HERE).  Last night . . . we got it!

After work we sat down and made a quick plan . . . and stuck to it!  This is how is all played out:

Step #1

Wingers! wingers  We love ourselves a little Wingers, especially the STICKY FINGERS WRAP!  Megs and I always get the regular: shared Sticky Fingers Wrap (they're huge), salads with ranch, and SOMETIME an Asphalt Pie.  Oh, and waters.  PERFECTION!

Step #2

Talking.  Being married to your best friend seriously rocks!  We can talk all night long.

Step #3

Laugh. Joke. Laugh some more. Silence. Laughter.

Step #4

List making.  There is just somethin' to it that makes BOTH of us happy people.  We love the lists.

Step #5

Buy BABY MATTRESS.  It is getting so close.  We also walked down the isles to see what else we may need.  We stocked up on BP's (ladies you know what I'm talkin about) and made fun of the baby seat that transforms into a porta potty and toddler potty seat.  These people will do almost ANYTHING for a buck.

Step# 6

Serious talk that ends in laughter.

Step #7

Home Depot to buy new under the bed boards.  Our's are dinky and make creaking sounds.  This represents crossing another thing off our TO-DO list.  This makes us happy, VERY happy!  Beside, our cockeyed Quazi worker made that outing even that much better.  His name was Randy.

Step#8

Wash sheets/pillow cases.  I used to do this weekly, but without our own washer/dryer is only happens . . . well less than that.  Who doesn't like climbing into new, smell good sheets?

Step #9

Image033Convert our couch and ottoman into a large living room bed.  I promised Megs that I would indulge her by watching a chosen few of her Chick-Flicks and this made it bearable.  We watched Notting Hill . . . not that bad gentlemen, not that bad.

Step #10

Fall asleep knowing you don't have to get up early!

PERFECTLY LOWKEY!
