More Musings

The post below actually took me A WEEK AND A HALF to post thanks to blogger and Word '07... I have more to post, but I am taking a few day break before I attempt this one again...
ENJOY!

So I finally got my rear in gear and have uploaded some of my pictures from my phone onto my computer. I would like to share some of them with you this day. I will also provide commentary as to keep you out of the dark. Enjoy.

Most recently and excitedly was the BOMB THREAT at my work (okay at Dick's Market right next to us)!!! It was on Saturday during a matinee (we HATE matinee and now we are telling all patrons that this is why we DON'T do matinees….we get bomb threats!) I was answering phones while the show was going on. A lady informed me that she was just kicked out of Dicks because of the threat and had a daughter in the show and was NOT comfortable with her performing….understood. Long story short, I ran outside and informed one of the numerous cops that we had 300 persons next door. We gave the green light and I ran back in and made an announcement over the system. We had to cut the show mid-song and the poor actors were, needlessly to say, shocked. Surprisingly everyone evacuated quickly and safely to the DI. Actors were mixed in with patrons all in full costume and make with microphones and all. Most of them left their belongs inside and had to hitch rides in home. We waited around for about two hours before we were given the all clear. We enjoyed snow cones provided by some poor kids that were completely unaware of what was going on. They just thought it was a fantastic rush of business…. All went well. We had to completely cancel the show and have been making restitution ever since. And here I thought the matinee was going to be boring! WHOA BABY!

Welcome to Costco just before closing….DON'T DO IT! It is ALMOST as bad as Saturday's…I charge by the hour if I am asked to run errands to Costco on Saturday's

Meet the LING FAMILY (I have selected this last name at random to protect their identity) They were in front of us in the INSANE line at Costco. I was already getting a little perturbed, but they just FUELED THE FIRE! They originally had three carts COMPLETELY full of cosmetics, FISH OIL, and other vitamins and minerals. Annoying, but I can overcome that….until another Ling family member hops in line with arm full of more FISH OIL. I started to get a little testy and the wife had to calm me down. THEN IT HAPPENED….two HUGE CARTS full of more FISH OIL pushed through the INSANE lines and up with the rest of the LING FAMILY! My wife sprung at them like a blue ribbon winner in the Indy Derby! I held her back and then using my "stern" voice told them they could go and wait like the rest of us. "We family….." was sister Ling's reply. Wrong reply in my book. I again informed them they could take their cart back and wait like the rest….."we family" With the wife's firm grip we hoped over to the next line that just opened up. This family literally spent THOUSANDS in FISH OIL alone…Maybe they know something we don't….? Look out for the LING's.

This is my dilated pupil. I could go into detail, but a dilated pupil kinda says it all itself.

Here is a picture of the NICHOLS FLOOD 2008! This picture was taken BEFORE I had to grab a bin and bail water like I was on the Titanic. I have since repented for my colorful and LOUD description of the workers that busted this pipe the day before.

WE LOVE SIZZLER and we are not ashamed who knows it! In fact the other day we risked life and limb to get to the SIZZLER before 4:00 (this is when the menu changes to DINNER and you have to pay two dollars more per person… ) These are our dinner friends. We call them blue and bald. We love the blue hairs and they love us back. We even share the occasional salutation over the dressings at the salad bar.

This is the WEINERMOBILE! "My bologna has a first name, it's OSCAR. My bologna has second name, its MEIER." I came across this at the Walmart last month. I was starstruck. I even went on a TOUR! It's really nice inside.

WHAT?! This toilet has wings….Not to mention it sits in the NASTIEST bathroom this side of Alabama….(The Gateway Mall…. Who wants to go shoppin now?...)

You know, I probably should NOT stay up late…..First Colonix ( I Won't post the link again. I have already received MUCH grieve for posting that one last time…..) INTRODUCING KINOKI FOOD PADS! I wonder if the Ling's use these?... I saw these on the television a while ago and I just knew that one day I would HAVE THESE! THEN, the wife and I go to Bed Bath and Beyond last night to use up a little gift card storage and we came them! WE PURCHASED THEM! (We also purchased a shower/shave clock/radio mirror for the shower that I am quite excited for) They are proven by old Chinese believes to suck the toxins out of your feet! I used them last night!!!

These are my foot toxins! You use them over the course of two weeks and they get lighter and lighter signifying that you are losing your bodies toxins. The Ling's are really making me curious about the FISH OIL!

FINALLY a great family picture from our recent family trip to NAUVOO! What an AMAZING EXPERIENCE!
That's all for now. I have decided to begin sharing with you some of my history. I am not going to lie, I have seen and experienced some incredible….well mostly embarrassing, things in my life and I would be honored to share.
